Building new business ventures

John founded and currently heads a professional web design company called Spectral Point Web Development.

He is also part of a collaborative business group with friends called the Chimpletons.

He earned a Ph.D. degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. His thesis was titled "Direct Numerical Simulation of Flow Over Circular Cylinders for Large-Eddy Simulation Modeling."
